Q. What type of chocolate do you use?
A. We only use Belgian Chocolate.
Q. Do you have different types of chocolate?
A. We can provide milk, plain or white. White chocolate can also be coloured to almost any colour, so it can match the theme of your event.
Q. Does the chocolate contain nuts?
A. The chocolate comes with a warning that it may contain nuts.
Q. How fresh are the dips?
As far as possible all fresh food is purchased on the day and chilled, where needed, until it is ready to be eaten.
Q. How do I pay?
A. We can accept payment by cheque, debit/credit card or cash in person.
Q. What do I need to provide?
All we require is a 13 amp standard plug socket.
Q. Will there be anyone present during the running of the fountain?
Yes, we only allow our fountains to go out with our trained members of staff. This way the fountain can be kept running and fully maintained without any problems.
Q. How many fountains do you have?
Four: one is a free-standing fountain and one has the surround but no stand so will require a table. Two are smaller ones for smaller functions.
Q. What dips can you supply?
Marshmallows, Fudge, Haribo, Strawberries, Mango, Pineapple, Melon, Seedless grapes, Mini doughnuts, Bassetts, Jelly Babies, Turkish Delight, Crystallized ginger and Profiteroles. We cannot use crumbly food as this may clog up the fountain and may disrupt the flow of the chocolate.
Q. Do you have Public Liability Insurance and Food Hygiene Certification?
Yes we have both and all the certificates that a venue may ask to be provided. We are also registered with Swale Borough Council as a catering company.
Q. Can we use the fountain outside?
A. Sorry we are unable to use the fountain outside due to flies enjoying the chocolate! The fountains will run in marquee as long as they are away from the wind.
Q. How long does it take to set up?
A. We suggest you let us set up an hour before you need it in order for the chocolate to be melted to the right temperature and flowing freely.
Q. How long does the fountain run for?
A. We will provide for 2 hours but should you need it for 3 hours then that can be arranged.
Q. Do you require a booking fee?
Yes please, we require a £100 booking fee (non-refundable) at the time of booking to secure a date. Full payment must be made 14 days before the event.
